The Association of Cafeterias, Bars and Restaurants of PIME Menorca and the Association of Cattle Breeders of Menorca are joining forces once again to organise this gastronomic event, in which 14 establishments are participating, some of them totally faithful to the event and others that keep Menorcan Beef on their menus throughout the season. Specifically, the following restaurants have joined this year:
Ciutadella: Jaume II, Pins 46, Café Balear, Pizzeria Roma, Sa Parrilla des Lago
Ferreries: Mesón Rias Baixas
Es Mercadal: Hotel Jeni and Restaurant, Molí d’es Racó, Mesón Can Jaume, Es Tomàtic
Fornells: Restaurant Don Tomás
Es Migjorn Gran: Lady Hamilton
Maó: El Grill
Sant Lluís: Sa Pedrera des Pujol
All menus can be consulted on the website www.gastronomiamenorca.es. To book, you must contact the restaurant chosen from among those participating in the initiative, which will offer meat from the native breed with the Vermella Menorquina quality seal.
The celebration of this 6th edition during the month of October aims to be an attraction for visitors who still come to Menorca during the autumn, and to promote gastronomic tourism between the islands. But it also seeks to encourage the Menorcan population to try the local beef and to get to know the island's establishments committed to local, quality products.
The organisation of these events has the support of the Menorca Tourism Promotion Foundation and the Consell Insular de Menorca.
