A Christmas Dinner for Everyone with Fra Roger

At Càritas Menorca they work every day to make the most of the resources they receive and transform them into opportunities for training, inclusion and support for the people who need it most.

The contributions and aid in the form of food that we receive are destined for the project Escola de Restauració Ca n’Aguedet, in Es Mercadal, where young people and adults in vulnerable situations have the opportunity to train in the world of cooking and hospitality. This project not only encourages the learning of a profession but also contributes to food use and sustainability.

Once again, in its 11th edition, and thanks to the initiative of Fra Roger and the collaboration of several charitable companies, 250 Christmas menus will be offered to families and people in situations of exclusion. The meals, which will be distributed from the different parishes of Menorca, will be prepared by renowned chefs on the island, who have joined forces to create a special moment full of hope.

This initiative seeks to bring the spirit of Christmas to all homes, offering a complete menu that includes dishes prepared with dedication and quality ingredients, and allowing families to enjoy a dignified and different dinner, with elements typical of Menorcan cuisine.

None of these projects would be possible without the support of the collaborating companies and all the people who trust in Cáritas to deliver its help where it is needed most.
