Arrels, the Menorca local product and cuisine fair, is back

The Insular Council's Department of Economy and General Services will hold a new edition of the Arrels Fair on September 21 and 22 at the Mercadal Fair Grounds.

The gastronomic event of reference on the island thus reaches its seventh edition. "We are changing location and moving to the center of the island, to an open space where we can promote activities such as those aimed at families", explains the Minister of Economy and General Services, Maria Antònia Taltavull.

In this way, it will be a weekend full of activities that aims to concentrate the best artisanal production and the best quality of the kitchen. As every year, visitors will be able to buy directly from the producer the items they taste, as well as learn first-hand the process behind their preparation.

"The fair will also be divided into different activity spaces where there will be live cooking demonstrations, guided tastings and activities for the little ones," adds Taltavull.
