Thanks to Vinum Menorca this week we recommend a white wine from the DO Rueda. This is Astrales Sahumé 21, made with Sauvignon Blanc. It is the fourth wine from the Astrales Blancs Singulars Collection.

Nose: Intense with tropical aromas such as passion fruit and mango, as well as herbal notes of tomato and beef. Subtle smoky tone
Mouth: Powerful and very fresh, mineral, with a long journey and intense aromatic persistence. It evolves towards candied and spiced fruits.
It is the ideal wine to accompany fish and seafood, as well as Japanese, Peruvian and Mexican cuisine. Also smoked and cured cheeses. Rice and fish stews.
Grilled or grilled turbot, Biscayan-style cod, cod gratin with allioli and sobrasada, cod fritters, fish and seafood cannelloni, as well as grilled blue fish.
Clams in white wine, grilled cockles, seafood-style mussels, steamed mussels with mayonnaise sauce, grilled razor clams, octopus with onions or Roman-style squid.
