Best Artisanal Meat Competition 2025: the deadline is now open

EDUCARNE is going to award the master artisan butchers at the next edition of the international meat sector fair, Meat Attraction, and will do so by holding the final of the Best Artisanal Meat Competition 2025, on February 26 at 11 a.m.

2025 is the year of the butcher shop, since for the first time in history Spain will be represented at the World Butchers' Challenge, which will be held in Paris in March. That is why, in this edition, it was necessary to show the most innovative artisan facet, which is one of the strengths of Spanish professionals in the trade. Meat products that pass through generations, but are reinvented every day, unique recipes, which are unknown to most consumers and must be valued.

The deadline for submitting applications is now open and will close on January 23. On that date, experts from the sector will preselect three artisan meat products, which will be the three lucky ones to reach the final of the competition at Meat Attraction. Three recipes that, if they make it this far, are already winners, but the first, second and third place will be played out live, in front of the public and will be scored by a specialized jury, which will evaluate aspects such as originality, combination of ingredients, difficulty of preparation, presentation, organoleptic characteristics and a product data sheet.
