Cap Vermell Group donates 2,000 euros to the Balearic Association of Children with Rare Diseases

The Cap Vermell Group business group has made a donation of 2,000 euros to the Balearic Association of Children with Rare Diseases (ABAIMAR). The association, founded in 2009 by committed fathers and mothers, is dedicated to supporting boys and girls affected by rare diseases, providing them with essential services and being their voice in society.

ABAIMAR works to increase awareness of rare diseases, offering comprehensive services including social care, psychological care, physiotherapy, home care reinforcements and music therapy. In addition, the association holds talks in schools and at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) to inform the community about rare diseases and ABAIMAR’s mission.

Cati Cerdá, founder and president of ABAIMAR, wanted to express “our sincere gratitude to Cap Vermell Group for its generous donation” and stressed that “this financial contribution will allow us to continue offering crucial services to the families we serve. The support of committed companies such as Cap Vermell Group is fundamental to our work, and we are grateful for their solidarity and continued support.”

For his part, Toni Mir, CEO of Cap Vermell Group, has assured that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs “are in our DNA, and that is why every year we choose several NGOs or Associations to provide them with our support and, in this way, contribute to the well-being of our community.

“The Balearic Association of Children with Rare Diseases does magnificent work in offering essential support and resources to those facing unique challenges. We are proud to support ABAIMAR in its mission and hope that this donation contributes to making a positive difference in the lives of the affected families,” concluded Toni Mir.

This donation of 2,000 euros from Cap Vermell Group will allow ABAIMAR to continue its work and maintain the essential services they provide to affected families. This contribution strengthens the company’s commitment to social responsibility and its desire to contribute to the well-being of the local community.
