Es Garbell's almond cake

Es Garbell restaurant, in addition to offering a careful selection of good Menorcan cuisine, also presents us with typical desserts such as almond cake, the queen of the island's pastries.

A cake made the old-fashioned way, where you can notice the almonds, moist and at their sugar point. Instead of being topped with meringue, it is topped with egg yolk jam.

Quite a sin for lovers of traditional sweets and Menorcan pastries.
