From the Ses Voltes bar-cafeteria known locally as Can Carrasco, to the popular and large Espai Gastronòmic that it is today.

More than forty years ago, in 1981, Ciutadella saw the birth of the Ses Voltes bar-cafeteria, popularly known as Can Carrasco. With two very clear pioneering specialties: the wide variety of ice creams they offered, and their own pizzas made in the stone oven.

From the hand of Paco Carrasco and his wife, Juana Florit, the business that was initially started as a response to the growing tourism, creating several 'souvenir' shops, ended up becoming a benchmark in gastronomy menorcan They were still the ones who, with the purchase of the houses attached to the space already set up as a bar-cafeteria, gradually expanded their restaurant business.

At the beginning of the century, specifically, in 2008, his heirs, becoming the head of the business, decided to reform everything, making it a more unified space. And so the place became Ses Voltes. Gastronomic Space Since, and as the name itself indicates, it was now a single space, which offered a great gastronomic variety.

Currently, Diego Carrasco and Carlos Carrasco are in charge of the reference restaurant. One in the kitchen and the other in the living room. Constantly renewing itself, and adapting to the new times, Ses Voltes. Espai Gastronòmic, presents a long and varied menu. So that any type of public can access it. From tapas, hamburgers and pizzas, to grilled meats, calderetas and paellas.

But, and what stands out most about the current restaurant, is the creativity of Diego who, and being in charge of the kitchen, never gets tired of innovating with his dishes. This can be seen, for example, in one of the starters they offer, the Menorcan cheese coulant. Thus turning a typical sweet dessert into a savory starter made with local produce. Mixing different cultures and different products both here and abroad, Ses Voltes. Espai Gastronòmic sees the birth of new dishes constantly.

In addition to this space, and for those of you who don't go out much, in 2018 they created a new place, called Ses Voltes a casa, dedicated exclusively to home delivery. Thus, people who prefer to stay at home, but eat quality cuisine, also have it within their reach.
