“Herbes Biniarbolla and Menorca Preservation announce the finalist works of their Charity Artistic Recycling Competition”

Yesterday, and on the occasion of its Annual Party, Herbes Biniarbolla, the artisanal liquor company from Menorca, presented the finalist works of its Charity Artistic Recycling Competition. The winner of the competition was the artist Marta De Salvador, with her work “Ses Olles”, an oil painting on plastic, while the works of the artists JE and Mario dello Iacono have been awarded second and third prizes. The finalists will be given lots of Herbes Biniarbolla products and a meal at Sa Punta.

The selected work will be auctioned during the 3rd Edition of the Menorca Preservation Charity Gala that will be held on July 17 at the La Mola Fortress. All funds raised will be donated to Menorca Preservation and will be entirely used for the preservation of the natural environments of our island.

The Charity Contest
Developed in collaboration with the non-profit organization Menorca Preservation, the contest was born with the aim of encouraging and promoting local artistic talent and at the same time, addressing the problem of waste generation, encouraging the reuse of materials from the factory. by Herbes Biniarbolla. Thus, participants were encouraged to explore the relationship between society, crafts and the natural heritage of Menorca. Likewise, the works had to be created with at least 70% recycled materials from the Herbes Biniarbolla factory, such as cardboard, plastic, glass or metal.

The Charity Gala (3rd Edition)
For the third consecutive year, Menorca Preservation organizes a Charity Gala through which it can raise funds with which to continue financing essential projects for the preservation and conservation of Menorca's natural heritage.
