Prestigious Spanish chef and humanitarian leader José Andrés and La Menorquina, Spain's largest private-label ice cream maker, have jointly launched a new range of frozen desserts called 'José Andrés by La Menorquina' for the United States. Thanks to the agreement between the two, the iconic frozen fruits of lemon, orange, coconut and pineapple from La Menorquina, as well as the frozen flan with pine nuts and caramel, will reach American consumers through the assortment of premium products made in Spain under the umbrella of José Andrés Foods, the food subsidiary of José Andrés Group.

The ice creams will be sold in restaurants, supermarkets, hypermarkets and hotels throughout the country through the distributor Gourmet Food International (GFI), based in Atlanta (Georgia). This company has presented La Menorquina ice creams throughout the restaurant sector gathered last week at the prestigious National Restaurant Association fair held in Chicago. The three main markets outside of Spain are the United Kingdom, Portugal and the United States, where it has such prominent clients as the Costco distribution chain.

For his part, José Andrés says he is excited to partner with La Menorquina to complement the range of products made in Spain, which he offers to American consumers through his company, since they are products of the highest quality that define Spanish gastronomy. and that now comes to the United States thanks to this alliance.
