Menorca advances towards a sustainable regenerative transformation with the GOV4ALL project

The Cooperativa San Crispín, Rayën Soluciones Agronòmiques and the Agrarian Custody program have joined forces to promote a transformation of the agricultural sector and improve its marketing channels.

Through the GOV4ALL project, funded by the European Union within the Horizon program, the aim is to build a solid alliance between actors on the Island who are looking for a practical and tangible result, with concrete actions that can respond to the needs of the different agents in the food production chain. A process that takes into account the entire value chain, from producers and producers, the transformation process, distribution and, finally, consumers, both at an individual and collective level.

As part of this whole process, the creation of a Service Center managed by Rayën Soluciones Agronòmiques is planned, which will offer practical solutions and close support to the farmers of Menorca, adapting to their real needs.

It is planned that next Tuesday, March 11 at 6:00 pm, a meeting open to all farmers and ranchers on the Island will take place in the Kitchen Room of the San Crispin Cooperative with the purpose of holding a participatory workshop where the real needs of the sector are to be put on the table, as well as presenting the service center that, together, aims to be able to respond to the challenges posed by this regenerative transformation of the sector.

GOV4ALL is a project of the European Horizon program that, through governance and the development of business models, will create soil regeneration systems and sustainable innovation centers. This is a four-year project that aims to inspire the primary sector to participate in the identification, testing and dissemination of regenerative land management practices. The results of the work achieved will be decisive as they will help define future European policies in the field of R&D&I.
