Friday has closed with a delicious Menorcan flavour at the Balearic Islands stand. The young chef from Alaior, Pau Sintes, has cooked live his interpretation of the traditional Menorcan dish, 'albergínies plenes' in front of a large audience who have applauded the chef's talent. He has not been the only protagonist of the Island in the kitchen at the Balearic Islands stand as Patrick James
Sintes, who has made a single pass, wanted to share the recipe with which he was proclaimed Best Young Chef in Europe in 2022 in Trondheim, Norway, in the competition organised by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Art, Culture and Tourism.
Baleares, which opened a new stand with a space dedicated to cooking, has opted for two of the leading names in current Menorcan gastronomy. Both Sintes and James, who has made five passes, have literally delighted the people who have visited the Balearic stand.
