In May, the Tourism Promotion Foundation (FFTM) and the Spanish Tourist Office in Brussels organized the press trip of the Belgian journalist Sofie Roth, who was on the island between May 25 and 28 with the aim of preparing a report for VAB Magazine about what is essential to do and see in Menorca during a three-day getaway.
This November the result of the intense trip was published, a compilation of what the journalist considers the most outstanding to see on a 72-hour trip to Menorca.
VAB Magazine is a monthly Flemish tourist information publication distributed among members of the Automobile Association (the equivalent of the Royal Automobile Club of Spain). It has a travel section called ‘Op reis’, where recommendations about Menorca have been published.
The article offers a broad vision of what the island offers: the main towns and their historical and architectural diversity, the cultural centers, Talayotic Menorca, gastronomy, accommodation, active tourism… and the omnipresent landscape.
Sofie Roth arrived on the island with a clear idea of what she wanted to visit. She had done her homework and knew the tourist offer and the main points of interest well. Menorca more than met her expectations, and what she especially valued was the tranquility and light of the island, sensations that can only be perceived in the first person.
Thus, as a result of a very complete program that included the collaboration of several companies, VAB Magazine publishes an article that highlights the diversity that Menorca offers and the direct flights that connect Menorca with Brussels from April to September.
