The 31st edition of Seafood already has the participation of around eighty countries

ACN/Barcelona - The 31st edition of Seafood Expo Global, which will be held from May 6 to 8 at the Gran Via exhibition center, has 79 countries confirmed so far. According to the organization, 50,918 square meters of exhibition space have already been sold so far. Exhibitors will present the latest innovations in seafood products such as fresh, frozen, canned, processed and packaged, among others, to buyers from sectors such as the hotel, restaurant, catering companies or distributors. At the same time, Seafood Processing Global will take place on the processing of seafood products, such as refrigeration, freezing, packaging machinery, hygiene control, transport and logistics.

To date, 63 national and regional pavilions have also confirmed their participation, although the organization expects this number to continue to increase. This year, the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), the Japanese Federation of Soy Sauce Manufacturers Cooperatives, ProEcuador, the Sri Lankan Export Development Board and the Valencian Institute for Business Competitiveness (IVACE) will be making their debut.

Among the countries, there will be Belgium, Canada, Chile, China, Denmark, Ecuador, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Italy, Japan, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States and Vietnam, to which will be added Egypt, Malta and the Island of Reunion.

In terms of companies, AquaChile, Balfegó & Balfegó, Cermaq Norway, Cooke, Denholm Seafoods Ltd, Frime, S.A.U., Gelazur, Godaco Seafood JCS, Grupo Profand SLU, Hofseth International, Iceland Seafood International, Lerøy Seafood Group ASA, Mowi ASA, Nueva Pescanova, Nordic Seafood A/S, Ocean Treasure World Foods Limited, Parlevliet & van der Plas Bv, Phillips Foods Inc, Regal Springs AG, Royal Greenland will take part. A/S, Salmar AS, Seafood Connection Bv, Sea Harvest Corporation (Pty) Ltd, Sea Pride LLC, Viciunai Group, Vinh Hoan Corporation, Worldwide Fishing Company SL, Unima and Zalmhuys Group, among many others.

At Seafood Processing Global, companies such as AKVA Group, BAADER, Cocci Luciano, Delanchy, CMA CGM, Mediterranean Shipping Company, Lineage, Maersk, Marel, MMC First Process, MULTIVAC Sepp Haggenmüller SE & Co. will participate. KG and Saeplast, among others.
