The City Council of Ciutadella is organizing a new edition of Tast de Cultura to promote local culture and heritage

The Culture Service of Ciutadella City Council has organized a new edition of Tast de Cultura, an initiative that aims to promote local culture and heritage through different activities that fuse literature, music, theater and gastronomy in spaces emblematic of the city.

The events will take place on October 27, and November 3 and 10, in ses Truqueries, Sa Marjal Vella, and in Ca n'Olivar and the Cathedral of Menorca. These historic spaces will be the setting for various activities that seek to bring the cultural wealth of Ciutadella to citizens and visitors.

Ses Truqueries*

Sunday, October 27. Departure at 10 a.m., from the Plaça des Pins stop (av. Negrete)

Guided visit to the barrack des Comte and presentation of the book Torre-saura, by the authors.

Performance: 4 Sols and a Piano. Local product tasting, courtesy of Sa Cooperativa del Camp de Menorca.
Excursion with medium difficulty. It is essential to wear suitable footwear.

Sa Marjal Vella*

Sunday, November 3. Departure at 10 am, from the Plaça des Pins stop (av. Negrete).

Explanation of the Kane cider project and the recovery of Menorca's apple varieties.

Performance: Duet Mar&datge (Joan Mesquida and Pepe Ruete). Tasting of farm products.
It is essential to wear suitable footwear.

Ca n Olivar and Cathedral of Menorca*

Sunday November 10. Time: 10 a.m

Guided tour of the stately home led by Talaia Cultura and view of Menorca's cathedral led by rector Josep Manguán.

Performance: Lucifer, play by Alex Tejedor, with the interpretation of the author himself and Josep Mercadal. Local product tasting by Sa Cooperativa del Camp de Menorca.
