The long-awaited Fira de l'Arròs Pobler and the gastronomic days Menjar Bé a sa Poblahave arrived

Gastronòmicament/Mallorca - It is always a good time to visit Sa Pobla and to live among the villagers. However, there are times when it is more special, such as during the Pobler Rice Fair, given that it is a food that has marked the lives of many people in this municipality.

The ninth edition of the Pobler Rice Fair will take place on November 23 and 24. The mayor, Biel Ferragut, recalls that previously, Sa Pobla has held the XXIX Meeting of Xeremiers and Fira de Lutiers, which gives relevance to popular music, and the XXVII Meeting of Giants.

The Councilor for Fairs and Markets, Magdalena de la Fuente, points out that the Village Rice Fair "has a very varied program, which will have the collaboration of local associations, which will energize the meeting with activities for all ages". He also points out that the culinary offer will be one of the main attractions, with the Eat Well (Menjar Bé) in Sa Pobla 2024 program, which will offer special dishes of traditional Mallorcan cuisine, made with village rice as the protagonist, an activity in which fourteen participate establishments

In addition, it should be noted that the poster for this year's fair is the work of local artist Julián Manzanares, who was also recognized at this year's edition of Art i Copes.
