The marranía with fried eggs and sobrasada from Es Chic

During this year's Menorcan Cuisine Showcase we tasted the menu from the Es Chic Restaurant, in Es Migjorn Gran, which is advised by the Mallorcan chef Miquel Calent.

We were surprised by their marrania with fried eggs and sobrasada, which brings back a dish from the traditional Menorcan recipe book. A dish with peasant roots and a frequent lunch and dinner for country people in the summer.

This dish shows that the traditional recipe book of Menorcan cuisine can be well represented on the menus of our island's restaurants.
