Today we celebrate World Bread and Food Day, and we can do so by betting on the breads made in our island's ovens, those that are baked every day to offer to their loyal clientele.
Breads made with sourdough and reliable flours, which will provide us with more nutrients and more health than those industrial or pre-frozen breads, popularly known as "gas station breads".
We also celebrate World Food Day, and it's also time to make a good resolution towards a sustainable and healthy diet, where local and seasonal produce is the protagonist.
Let's recover the way of eating of our grandparents, with homemade preparations and try to avoid pre-cooked foods as much as possible. Our health will surely thank us.
