On our pilgrimage through the traditional ovens of Menorca with the aim of trying the island’s pastry specialties, such as the Vienna rolls with sobrasada, this Menorcan creation that we will not find anywhere outside of our island, not even in Mallorca or Ibiza, which also make sobrasada.

We have stopped at the Forn de Can Marc, in Ferreries, which presents us with some fluffy Vienna bread rolls with sobrasada, a good size and generous inside. Very well prepared and makes you want to eat them.

They have also caught our attention for their salty cocas and other Menorcan pastry preparations such as ensaimadas, formatjades and cakes, which we will talk about in future foodies recommendations.
