Warning of the presence of the monocytogene listeria bacterium in packs of smoked salmon of the Selección Mundial de Dia brand

ACN/Barcelona - The Autonomous Community of Andalusia has reported the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in packages of smoked salmon from the Selección Mundial Dia brand. Ingestion of this bacterium can cause listeriosis, an infection considered serious. The Spanish Agency for Food Safety and Nutrition (Aesan) has received the alert through the Coordinated System of Rapid Information Exchange. The affected batches have an expiry date of October 4, 2024. Aesan recommends that people who have a package at home refrain from consuming it.
